Did you know you can make your own beats?: Ways to have you started
The modern record industry has been a free for all. Any human being with access to a computer can now become a music super-star using digital audio production. You may have heard of a person named Kanye West. Now, Kanye is not the most loved performer by everyone on the planet. But is he rich? Yes he is. Even Kanye was not always a superstar, he started making beats and instrumentals. Yes, Kanye would make 5 rap beats every day, no matter what happened. And guess what? Nowadays one of this guy's beats can auction for as much as $1000 each! That's incredible considering how basic his hip hop beats are musically.
Chances are that if you're reading this right now you want to get started creating your own hiphop beats. Now, besides the will to conquer ways to synthesize beats, all you need to begin is a computer and a hip-hop beats program. I will give you some examples of good beat making programs, the good things and bad, and which ones I would recommend. First, the beat software that I personally started out making beats with is named FL Studio. Fruity Loops is a tremendous program for those new to creating hiphop beats, although a majority of of the features do require a college-level knowledge of sound. They offer a trial version of it on the website, but to get the full upgrade you need to pay over $800. Many people when they want to get started producing beats, don't need all that many intricate features, and don't want to spend tons of savings.
All of this brings us to a beat making program that I would personally recommend to somebody like YOU. The program's titled Sonic Producer and it's the hottest rap beat program on the internet at the time being. Sonic Producer comes with a sixteen track sequencer, the perfect thing for beginners to start out with. What do you put in those 16 tracks? Not to worry, Sonic Producer comes with a badass sound library with tens of thousands of preset beats. My favorite part about this software is that it doesn't take up space on your harddrive. Think web 2.0. like Google Documents. Microsoft Power point usually takes up a couple gigabytes, but with Google's web 2.0. technology, you can have a word processor in your browser. This is the same idea. You now have a awesome beats program right here in your browser, with full functionality. My favorite setting is you can literally click save here in your browser and it will save your sick beats to your computer as mp3s! Get started making hiphop beats now!
